Who we are
Business Loanz is a trading name of Leadsource International Manager Limited (NZBN 9429047325371), Level 1, 287–293 Durham Street, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Leadsource International Manager Limited trading as Business Loanz.
What we collect
When you make an enquiry or talk to us, we may collect:
- your name, phone number, email address and other contact details;
- details about your business — its name, structure, NZBN, industry, trading history and turnover;
- what the funding is for and how much you're looking for;
- information about property that may be offered as security, including property owned by a supporting party (with their knowledge);
- information you choose to share about your credit history or tax position;
- technical information when you use our website, such as device and browser type, pages visited and referring site.
How we collect it
Mostly directly from you — through our online enquiry form, by phone, or in documents you provide. Our enquiry form is provided by a third-party form service that processes the information you enter on our behalf. With your authorisation, we or our lending partners may also collect information from others, such as credit reporting agencies, the Companies Office, or your accountant.
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry and contact you about business funding options;
- assess which funding options may suit your business;
- pass your details to lending partners so they can consider your application, with your agreement;
- keep records of our dealings with you;
- improve our website and services;
- meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We may share your information with lending partners, their agents and service providers, credit reporting agencies (when you've authorised a credit check), our professional advisers, and technology providers who help us run our website and systems. Some of these providers may store information outside New Zealand; where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is protected in a way comparable to the Privacy Act 2020. We don't sell your personal information.
Credit checks
Making an enquiry doesn't affect your credit score. A lender will only carry out a credit check with your authorisation, if you choose to make a formal application.

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the performance of our marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
